St. Louis Cyclones & Lady Blues

Lady Blues & Cyclones Fee Structure:

The fees cover the following items:

•    Practice and game ice

•    Association administration costs

             Examples:  advertisement, web site fees, bank fees, credit card fees, post office fees, pucks, water bottles,                etc

•    Coaches USA and Missouri Hockey registration fees and, if necessary, background check fees.

•   Game Official (referee) fees for a predetermined number of practice games

•   Player Missouri Hockey registration fees

•   Cost of specialized goalie training/instructions for all Cyclones goalies

•   Missouri (MO) Hockey League Administrative and Referee fees 

•   MidWest Girls hockey League (MWGHL) Fees

            The regular season league and end of season playoff game fees                                                                               This fee only applies to the Cyclones teams participating in this league

•  Tier I Elite Hockey League Fees

• USA Hockey Regional Tournament Fees

            This fee only applies to the teams participating in the USA Hockey District Tournament

•   For the Tier I Lady Blues Players only

The Fees DO NOT cover the following items:

• Socks and Jerseys

•   Tournament Fees

             There will be a cash call for all players participating in a tournament                                                                        Exception – Some non-district tournament fees are included in the Lady Blues team fees                                            Tier I Elite Hockey League playoff Fees

• Player hockey equipment

•  Player USA Hockey National Tournament Fees

•  USA Hockey National Tournament Fees

            This fee only applies to the teams participating in the USA Hockey Tournament

•   Fees for off ice hockey training

•  Fees for pre-season tryouts or conditioning camp

•  Travel expenses (transportation, hotel, etc.)

•  Unanticipated costs that are well in excess of what the club can absorb

           Examples:  Ice cost increases well in excess of preseason estimates, etc.

Blue – Potential Team, Green – Firm Team – commitments from sufficient players to form a team

Notes:

1.     The club subsidizes the 10UA team to promote girl’s hockey in St. Louis.

2.     All sheets are 60 minutes unless specified otherwise.

3.     This ice allocation does not include the Midwest Girls Hockey League (MWGHL) home game or playoff  ice. MWGHL host weekend games are 70 minutes.

4.     This ice allocation does NOT include the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League Ice.

5.     This ice allocation does NOT include tournament ice.

6.     Lady Blues “Out of town” Player Fees apply to ALL players on the team and include each player’s equal share of          the “blitz” weekend practice ice, Tier I Elite Hockey League and tournament fees.

7.     For the Lady Blue Players – St. Louis Player Fees apply to the St. Louis based players on the team and include               each player’s equal share of the Missouri hockey League and core St.Louis group practice sessions.                            Example: 14UAAA St. Louis based players pay the “Out of town” Player Fees ($800) and the St. Louis 14UAA                   Player Fees ($900) for a total of $1,700.

St. Louis Cyclones 2009-10 Season Tier II Girl’s Teams Registration Process:

     The Cyclones are ready to begin another exciting season of all girl’s hockey.  Starting with the 2009-10 season there will be a Tier II Girl’s USA Hockey National Tournament in addition to the Tier I Girl’s USA Hockey National Tournament.  The St. Louis Cyclones organization will field local St. Louis based Tier II AA, A, B and recreational level team’s for the 2009-10 season.  These teams will participate in the St. Louis Missouri Hockey Leagues and/or the Mid West Girls Hockey League (MWGHL, www.midwestgirlshockey.com) and/or the Tier II Girl’s USA Hockey National Tournament (except recreational level team’s).  Tryouts for the St. Louis based Tier II teams (there are no tryouts for the recreational teams) will be held in August 2009. 

The registration process for the Cyclones 2009 – 10 season Tier II teams are defined below:

• A Down deposit or registration check for $200 per player (except 10U and LTP players) is due July 31^st 2009.
  

•  A Down deposit or registration check for $75 per player for 10U and LTP players is due July 31^st 2009.

•  $25 reduction per player if fees paid in full by August 5^th 2009.
  

•  $30 extra per player if registration check received by treasurer after July 31^st 2009 .
  

•  $60 extra per player if registration check received by treasurer after August 15^th 2009.

   Registration focal points for each level:

   10U focal point: Dave Hoke

   12U focal point: Mike Murphy

   14U focal point: Joanne Chamberlain

   16U focal point:

   19U focal point: Chris Peterson

•  A player will not be allowed to tryout for any Cyclones team until a registration check has been submitted.
  

•  Registration checks will be returned in the event the Cyclones do not get sufficient players for a team at the level of interest for a player.  Example – A player registered for the 19U team yet there were insufficient registrations for a Cyclones 19U team – the 17U, 18U and 19U player registration checks would be returned.  Registration checks will NOT be returned if there is a team at the level of interest for a player, but the player does not make the highest-level team for their age grouping.  Example: Registration checks will NOT be returned if a player is registered as a 14U player and does not make the 14UAA team – she is placed on the 14UA or 14UB team following tryouts.

Note 1: Players joining the club after October 1^st because they moved into the area or had a sudden desire to join the girl’s pay a prorated fee based on when they joined the club/team.  For players that live in the St. Louis area this prorated fee structure can only be exercised once.
